How do you know that someone
has read a policy? How do they know that a policy has changed?
By using HosPro Prompter in conjunction with our SpeedSearch system, you
have that information at your fingertips.
With Prompter, when a user
logs into SpeedSearch they are presented with a message informing them that
policies have been added or changed and links to view these policies.
If they open a policy, the system recognizes that and records the date and
time it was viewed. The next time the user logs in, that policy will
not appear on their message.
Of course, sometimes a policy needs to be found and accessed immediately.
We
created a by-pass that allows the user to read the new policies later and
get right to the matter at hand.
If email addresses are
available, the institution can send initial announcements and reminders to
help ensure people are reading what they are supposed to read.
